I never thought I would have to make one of these, but here I am, pleading for your help!! 

Conway, NH - Police are looking for Krista Dittmeyer of Portland, whose car was found running in the Cranmore Mountain ski area parking lot. Dittmeyer’s baby was alone inside the car.

Conway, NH police Lt. Chris Perley told NEWS CENTER police are “not looking at the investigation in a manner that she voluntarily absented.” Perley said that would rule out Dittmeyer abandoning the vehicle or harming herself.

Conway police got a call around 6:30 a.m. Saturday from someone who spotted the car with its engine on and lights flashing in the parking lot at Cranmore Mountain ski area. Police found no sign of Dittmeyer, but say her baby is in good condition and is being cared for by family.

She has ties to the Bridgton and Portland, Maine, area as well as friends in Conway.

Anyone with information is asked to call Conway police at 603-356-5715.
